Bangladeshi student on top of world in Cambridge examinations

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- A Bangladeshi student obtained the highest marks in the world in Cambridge GCE O & A Level Examinations in 2009-10 sessions.

Aleef Al-Amin of Oxford International School (OIS) in Dhaka secured top position in the world among 160 countries in Human and Social Biology in O Level, a press statement said in Dhaka on Friday.

It also said 13 students of the same school have been adjudged as 'best performing students' in Bangladesh as they got highest numbers in 13 subjects in the 2009-10 examination sessions' by Cambridge International Examinations(CIE).

The students of the school achieved 79 Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards for their outstanding performances in the recent GCE O & A Level Examinations.
