Three killed in Pakistan port city violence on Eid Day

Karachi, Pakistan (BBN)- At least three people were killed and six others wounded in firing incidents resulting from hides snatching on the day of Eid-ul-Azha on Wednesday, police said.  

In the first incident occurred in the city’s Lyari area, two people were killed when rival groups clashed.

Activists of a political party resorted to firing during a hide-snatching scuffle in Block-17 of Gulshan-e-Iqbal at Ashraf Square in the country’s port city. As a result, one of the activists was critically injured, who later succumbed to injuries at Jinnah Hospital, according to reports.

Police are investigating the incidents.
