Monster lizard in Australia

A monster lizard spotted in man’s backyard!

Last updated: December 7, 2015

New South Wales, Australia (BBN)-If you're easily grossed out by creepy-crawlies, look away now.
This is one of those things you cannot unsee.
Australia has presented the Internet with its fair share of bizarre animal-caught-on-camera moments.
This one wins hands down (and that's not a challenge).
A man in New South Wales literally just found Godzilla chilling in his backyard.
We're not kidding.
What else would you call this five-foot-long lizard?
"I was just doing a repair job in my shed when I opened the door and I saw this huge thing run across the ground and out of sight," Eric Holland, the lucky host to this lizard guest, told The Sydney Morning Herald.
The monster lizard is actually called a lace monitor or lace goanna and can grow up to two meters in length and weigh up to 20 kgs.
Just imagine one of these roaming around your garden or backyard. We're surprised Holland managed to snap a picture in time.
Seriously, Australia, go home...
