BNP chairperson to visit China on December 19-21

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Opposition leader and Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia will pay a three-day visit to China on December 19-21 at the invitation of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

Khaleda Zia will leave here for Beijing on December 18, her press secretary Maruf Kamal Khan reportedly confirmed.

During the visit, the former prime minister will hold meetings with leaders of the Chinese government and the Communist Party of China (CPC).

BNP Chief Khaleda Zia will be accompanied by some party leaders and officials of the opposition leader’s office.

She will return home on December 23.
