Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- International Maritime Organization (IMO) Secretary General EE Mitropoulos will arrive in the capital Dhaka on Wednesday on a three-day visit.
On the first day of the visit, he will see the Sadarghat river port in the afternoon and call on Shipping Minister Shahjahan Khan in the evening.
The IMO secretary general will visit the Chittagong Marine Academy on Thursday. He will also visit Western Marine Shipyard and ship-breaking yard in Sitakunda in the afternoon and return to Dhaka in the evening.
He will leave Bangladesh on Friday, a press statement said.
