Dhaka stocks fall with three indices declining

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - Dhaka stocks went down on Thursday with all three indices declining more than one percent each, market operators said.

The benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, generally known as DGEN, closed at 7,575.89 points down by 114.80 points (-1.49 percent).

Almost all the sectors went down on profit taking. The total turnover also declined significantly by 35.5 percent to stand at US$ 154.1 million compared to Wednesday’s $239.1 million. UCBL topped the turnover list gaining 1.53 percent.
