Dhaka chamber emphasis on increased business with Nigeria

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Minister, Nigeria High Commission stationed in India, Muhammed Hussein called on Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) President Asif Ibrahim at DCCI on Thursday.
DCCI President Asif Ibrahim informed the minister about the trade and business situation of Bangladesh with Nigeria. He also informed that presently Bangladesh is exporting $ 6.15 million in exchange of $ 15.52 million import. 
Main exports from Bangladesh are RMG, leather and frozen food.
Minister informed that some of Bangladeshi product like RMG, Pharmaceuticals, ICT, Tiles and other building materials have a tremendous market to Nigeria. 
He requested for exploring these new market and sending trade delegation to Nigeria. While discussing, he informed different process of business, registration and regulatory drawbacks of his country. 
DCCI Senior Vice President T I M Nurul Kabir called upon the minister to make an action plan by which we can explore potential sectors of business.
