Belgium company to invest over $6.75 million in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - Tigerco Limited, a Belgium company, will invest US$ 6.756 million to set up a high tech garment manufacturing industry in Dhaka Export Processing Zone (EPZ).

In this connection, an agreement was signed between Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) and Tigerco Limited at BEPZA Complex in the city recently, a press statement said.

Under the deal, the 100-per cent foreign owned company will produce bullet-proof jacket, tent, protective clothes and garments items.

BEPZA Member (Investment Promotion) Moyjuddin Ahmed and Managing Director of Tigerco Limited Iqbal Hossain signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
