Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Commerce Minister Muhammad Faruq Khan will leave the country on Friday to attend the 18th Guwahati International Trade Fair being held in Assam, India.
The minister's visit will give a further boost to the bilateral trade between the two next door neighbors and to help expand country's export to the seven north-east Indian states, commerce ministry officials said.
He will attend the international buyer-seller meeting as the chief guest. He is also expected to attend a seminar on "Enhancing Trade and Business Cooperation between North-East India and Bangladesh" in Guwahati.
