Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) opened its 315th Branch at Shibaloy in Manikganj on Monday.
Freedom Fighter Md Abdul Mabud PPM, chairman of Risk Management Committee of the bank, inaugurated the branch as chief guest.
Mohammad Abdul Mannan, managing director & CEO of the bank, presided over the program, said a press statement of the bank today.
Helal Ahmed Chowdhury, chairman of the Audit Committee of the bank; and Prof Dr Hasan Muhammad Moinuddin, member of the Shariah Supervisory Committee; addressed the programme as special guests.
Md Shamsuzzaman, the deputy managing director; and Mohammad Ali, executive vice president of the bank; addressed the program.
Md Kawsar-ul-Alam, executive vice president and head of Dhaka North Zone, presented keynote paper titled ‘Superiority and Success of Islamic Banking System’.
Mobarak Hossain Khan, businessperson; Mawlana Md Abdul Malek, khateeb of Shibaloy Kendrio Jame Masjid; addressed the function among clients and local elites.
Executives and officials of the bank along with local businesspersons, professionals, and social elites attended the program.
