4 suspects held as major terror bid foiled in Karachi University

Karachi, Pakistan (BBN) - The Law Enforcement Agencies late on Monday night foiled major terror bid and nabbed four militants, said to be planning a suicide attack in University of Karachi.
Sources said the law enforcers arrested the terrorists affiliated to a banned outfit at National Highway near Kathore area and seized huge cache of weapons from their possession, reports Daily Pakistan.
One arrested terrorist was killed in exchange of fire with personnel of LEAs when the former tried to flee from the custody. He was identified as Abdul Amin.
The officials also confiscated a truck loaded with 10 kilograms of explosives, 5kg ball bearing and a detonator. Sources said the militants were planning to target.
