Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - The half-yearly Management Conference-2011 of the Premier Bank Limited was held at a city hotel on Saturday.
Chairman of the board of directors of the bank Dr HBM Iqbal graced the occasion as the chief guest while its Managing Director Masihul Huq Chowdhury presided over the conference.
While addressing the conference Dr Iqbal expressed his satisfaction over the efforts and achievements of the bank during the first six months.
He urged the employees of the bank to keep the pace of progress in banking business by complying with necessary regulatory requirements. He emphasised the need for enhancing efforts and skill of the bankers to provide best services to the customers.
A number of branch managers spoke on the occasion and presented their problems to the top brass of the bank.
