New Delhi, India (BBN) - Beleaguered Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) received a huge blow after Bangladesh turned down the proposal for a Twnety20 International series in July this year.
Bangladesh thus became the fourth team - after West Indies, Ireland and Sri Lanka – to reject traveling to Pakistan in the last two years, reports Zee News.
According to reports, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has communicated it's inability to send the team to Pakistan to PCB.
“The reports were not satisfactory enough due to which we had to pull back," BCB’s media and communications committee chairman Jalal Younus was quoted as saying in an Indian Express report.
Since terror attack on Sri Lankan team bus in Lahore in 2009, Pakistan has become an unwanted place to visit.
The situation seemed to have improved with the recent successful hosting of Pakistan Super League final in Lahore.
But Pakistan's hopes of hosting an international side still remains an elusive dream.
