Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Dhaka is now connected with Moscow, as Air Arabia has recently introduced its first flights to the Russian capital on October 14.

Air Arabia, a low-cost carrier in the Middle East and North Africa, also launched its services to Yekaterinburg in Russia on October 29, a company announcement said.

The airliner will offer service to Moscow from Sharjah International Airport on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, and to Yekaterinburg on Saturdays and Wednesdays every week.

“Bangladeshi travellers can heavily enjoy the benefit of the service of the carrier for the Russian cities through a very convenient connecting flight from Dhaka and Chittagong,” said Adel Ali, group chief executive officer of Air Arabia.

The airline now operates 10 flights a week in Dhaka-Sharjah route and seven flights on Chittagong-Sharjah route, Mr. Ali added.
