Chittagong Stock Exchange gets new boss

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Al- Maruf Khan has been elected the new president of Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE).

The elected vice-presidents are Mr. Mirza Salman Ispahani, Mr MKM Mohiuddin and Mr Tareq Kamal.

They were elected at the 16th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Chittagong Stock Exchange Limited held at CSE Conference Hall in the country’s port city Chittagong on Thursday.

A large number of members attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by the outgoing president Fakhor Uddin Ali Ahmed.

The four new directors elected in AGM include Mr ASM Nayeem and Mr Shahjada Mahmud Chowdhury, according to reports.
