Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - Reckitt Benckiser recommended 275 percent interim cash dividend based on the financial position and un-appropriated profit for the half year ended on June 30 in 2017, said an official disclosure on Thursday.
The board of directors of the multinational company set the record date for entitlement of interim dividend on December 20 of this year.
The multinational company has also reported earnings per share (EPS) of BDT 25.65, net asset value (NAV) per share of BDT 38.18 and net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) of BDT 8.90 for the year ended on June 30 in 2017 as against BDT 25.05, BDT 53.53 and BDT 62.09 respectively for the same period of the previous year.
In 2016, the company disbursed a total of 775 percent cash dividend while the company paid 650 percent cash dividend in 2015.
There will be no price limit on the trading of the shares of the company on today following its corporate declaration.
Each share of the company, which was listed on the Dhaka bourse in 1987, closed at BDT 2,081.40 each on Wednesday at the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).
The company’s paid-up capital is BDT 47.25 million and authorised capital is BDT 250 million, while the total number of securities is 4.72 million.
Sponsor-directors own 82.96 percent stake in the company while the government owns 3.77 percent, institutional investors own 5.80 percent, foreign 2.70 percent and the general public 4.77 percent as on October 31, 2017, the DSE data shows.

It provides products in the areas of surface and fabric care, dishwashing, homecare, health and personal care, and food.
The company’s surface care products include disinfectant and lavatory cleaners, general purposes and specialty cleaners, and polishes and waxes.
Its fabric care products comprise fabric treatments, fine fabric, water softeners, fabric softeners, and ironing aids laundry detergents.
The company’s health and personal care products comprise antiseptics, depilatories, denture care, analgesics cold/flu, and gastro-intestinals, according to the company’s website information.
