Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) was awarded “Best Corporate Award” by the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) in Islamic Banking operation category.
Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith handed over the award to Muhammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited on Monday at Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka.
The IBBL was also awarded South Asian Federation of Accountants Award 2010 for Corporate Governance Disclosure jointly with Hatton National Bank of Srilanka, a IBBL statement said on Tuesday.
