Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- President of Tuskegee University of USA Professor Gilbert L. Rochon called on Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique on Wednesday at the latter’s office.
He was accompanied by vice-president of Tuskegee University Professor Shaik Jeelani. Professor Abu Rayhan Md. Ali of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of BUET was present on the occasion.
During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interests specially the possibilities of establishing collaborative research programs and exchange of teachers, researchers and students between the University of Dhaka and Tuskegee University.
President of Tuskegee University Dr. Gilbert L. Rochon expressed his willingness to start joint research on various fields with Dhaka University.
They agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the two universities in this regard very soon, officials said.
