Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SIBL) has launched ‘Special customer service month-2009’ from May 10 to June 10, 2009 on the eve of its commencing nine years of operation.
SIBL managing director Muhammad Ali inaugurated the program in presence of executive committee chairman Md Towhidur Rahman at a ceremony held in Dhaka recently.
Among others, deputy managing director Md Mukhter Hossain, senior executives and divisional heads of the bank were present on the occasion.
Earlier, the bank organized a prayers session at its head office and expressed deep shock at the death of Dr MA Wazed Miah, eminent nuclear scientist and husband of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. They prayed for peace and salvation of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to bereaved family members.
