Chinese company to invest nearly $30 million in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- A Chinese company will invest US$ 29.89 million in setting up a hand bags, wallet and belt manufacturing industry in the Uttara Export Processing Zone of Bangladesh.
The company, M/s. Ventura Leatherware MFY (BD) Limited, will create employment opportunity for 5,000 Bangladeshi nationals.
To this effect, the company signed an agreement with the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) in its complex in the capital Dhaka on Wednesday, a press statement said.
