Japanese Company to invest over $6.0 million in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - Japanese company Kotobuki Bangladesh Limited will set up an electronic parts manufacturing industry in the Mongla Export Processing Zone of Bangladesh, officials said.
The company will invest $6.035 million in setting up the unit and will manufacture electronic parts. The company will also create employment opportunity for 115 Bangladesh nationals.
An agreement was signed between the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) and M/s Kotobuki Bangladesh Limited at the BEPZA Complex in the capital Dhaka on Wednesday.
BEPZA Member (Investment Promotion) Sayed Nurul Islam and Managing Director of M/s Kotobuki Bangladesh Limited Ryota Kitamura signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
