Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The Asian Football Confederation has declared the new schedule of the AFC Under-22 Championship’s group D matches that will begin from June 16.
The venue, however, remained unchanged as the matches will be played at the Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu, Nepal.
The competition was supposed to be held from June 2-10 at the same venue, but it had to be postponed for an inappropriate political situation in the Himalayan country.
According to the new fixtures, Bangladesh will take on hosts Nepal in the opening match of the group which also features Uzbekistan, Jordan and Yemen.
The top two-team of each group will advance to the finals in January 2014 while a berth for the hosts and the best third-placed team is also available.
