Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has extended heartiest congratulations to Bangladesh cricket team for defeating South Africa in the Tri-nation Twenty20 Triangular Series match in Harare, Zimbabwe on Friday.
The prime minister, in a message, congratulated all the players, coach and officials of the national team as well as Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) officials concerned for the victory against mighty South Africa.
Sheikh Hasina said, "The whole nation is proud of seeing the team spirit of our players and their tremendous performance".
Tigers bagged a 3-wicket victory when Ziaur Rahman finished the match hitting a boundary that took the score to 132 in 19.5 overs in reply to South Africa’s 129/7.
