Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - All major branches of the state-run and private commercial banks at divisional and district headquarters will remain open on Saturday to facilitate payment of income tax.
The Bangladesh Bank (BB) has issued a circular in this regard responding to the request of the National Board of Revenue (NBR).
Bank branches in Kapasia will remain closed on Sunday because of the by-election at Gazipur-4 on the day, the BB said.
