Bangladesh women cricket team beat Sri Lanka by five runs

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The Bangladesh women's cricket team beat Sri Lanka women by five runs in their last group match of the Women's Twenty20 Asia Cup in China on Sunday.
Batting first, Bangladesh women were all out in 18 overs for only 62 runs at Guanggong International Cricket Stadium, according to reports.
Rumana Ahmed was the highest scorer of Bangladesh with an unbeaten 25 runs as Sri Lankan bowlers SK Dolawatte and I Ranaweera took three wickets each.
Chasing down the target, Sri Lanka were bowled out for 57 runs in 19.4 overs.
Bangladeshi bowlers Salma Khatun grabbed four wickets while Jahanara Alam took three wickets.
Earlier, Sri Lanka women won the toss and decided to field first.
