Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Sabur Khan has been elected president of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) and Nessar Maksud Khan and Absar Karim Chowdhury senior vice-president and vice-president respectively for the year 2013.
The names of the newly-elected office-bearers of the chamber, including the three, were announced in its 51st Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Saturday.
In the meeting the charges of leading the chamber for the next term were also handed over to the newly-elected Board of Directors.
Mr Sabur was born in 1965 in a respectable Muslim family in Chandpur. He graduated from Jahangirnagar University.
He is the Chairman of Daffodil International University (DIU) and Daffodil Group which has been striving to be one of the leading ICT and education providers in Bangladesh.
