Two buses torched, five vandalized in Bangladesh’s capital

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Jamaat-Shibir men allegedly torched two buses, vandalised five more in Old Dhaka on Tuesday morning.
The activists of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and its student wing Islami Chhatra Shibir allegedly also blasted two cocktails at Shahbagh intersection in the capital Dhaka, according to reports.
However, there was no report of casualty in the sudden attacks.
The buses of Skyline Paribahan of Sadarghat-Mirpur route were gutted completely before the fire fighters reached the spot, near Bahadur Shah Park in the capital on Tuesday.
Quoting witnesses, Mokbul Hossain, a sub-inspector of Kotwali Police Station, said a gang of three to four youths set fire to the buses, which were parked on the road, after pouring petrol around 8:30 am
