Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Taiwan will set up a camping and sports garments industry with investing worth US$30.34 million in Comilla Export Processing Zone of Bangladesh.
This company to be known as M/s. Natway Outdoor (Bangladesh) Limited.
This company will produce different kind of sleeping bags, tents, rucksacks, and outdoor sports garments with annual production capacity of 2.1 million pcs items.
Natway Outdoor company is expected to create employment opportunity for 2000 Bangladeshi nationals, a press statement said.
An agreement to this effect was signed between Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority and M/s. Natway Outdoor (Bangladesh) Limited in BEPZA Complex, Dhaka on Monday.
Sayed Nurul Islam, Member Investment Promotion of BEPZA and Lin Hui, Chairman of M/s. Natway Outdoor (Bangladesh) Limited signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
Mr. A.K.M Mahbubur Rahman, Member (Finance),Mrs. Nazma Binte Alamgir, General Manager (Public Relations), Mr. Md. Khorshid Alam, General Manager (Investment Promotion) and other officials were present at the signing ceremony.
