UN chief meets Bangladesh Foreign Secy to discuss current situation

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has discussed the current situation in Bangladesh including the forthcoming elections with the country's visiting Foreign Secretary Shahidul Haque, at the UN headquarters in New York.
The UN chief on Tuesday had exchanged views on the current situation in Bangladesh, including on issues of accountability and justice, and the need to adhere to international standards. 
"They also discussed the forthcoming election and the importance of a free, fair, credible and inclusive process," Press Trust of India (PTI) reported quoting an official.
