CSE closes higher Thursday

Chittagong, Bangladesh (BBN)- Trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) closed higher on Thursday with the gainers dominating the losers.

The CSE All Share Price Index (CASPI) increased by 1.57 percent to close at 10642.89 points. The CSE-30 Index also rose by 2.7 percent to close at 8526.16 points.

A total of 170 issues were traded on the day. Of them, 90 gained, 78 declined and two remained unchanged.

Some 11,145,931 shares and debentures worth BDT 1.63 billion changed hands on the same day.
