Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- The REPO auction of Bangladesh Bank for commercial banks and financial institutions was held on Sunday, officials said.
Two bids of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 1.42 billion were received as special REPO. Of those, all bids of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 1.05 billion were accepted.
Moreover, six primary dealers (PDs) and non-PD banks of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 7.4660 billion were provided as Liquidity Support Facility.
The rate of interest of Special Repo was 10.25 percent but for the Liquidity Support Facility the rate of interest was 7.25 percent.
