Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Auction of 91-Day and 364-Day Treasury Bills (T-bills) was held on Sunday, officials said.
Total 21 bids of BDT 6.3998 billion for 91-Day T-bills and 17 bids of BDT 6.0553 billion for 364-Day T-bills were offered. Of those, 11 bids of BDT 4.08 billion for 91-Day T.Bill and 08 bids of BDT 3.3325 billion for 364-Day T-bills were accepted.
Accordingly, BDT 1.7520 billion was devolved on primary dealers (PDs) and BDT 1.1680 billion was devolved on non-PD banks for 91-T-bills.
BDT 2.6505 billion was devolved on PDs and BDT 1.7670 billion was devolved on non-PD banks for 364-T-bills.
The range of the implicit yield of the accepted bid was 8.30-8.35 percent and 10.34-10.36 percent respectively, according to the auction result.
