Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - The interim government today appointed Md Abdur Rahman Khan as the new chairman of the National Board of Revenue (NBR).
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a circular confirming his appointment, transitioning him from his previous role as Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division.
This appointment came just hours after the government removed Abu Hena Md Rahmatul Muneem from the position of NBR chairman.
Earlier, the Ministry of Public Administration had issued a separate circular canceling Muneem’s contractual appointment and officially relieving him of his duties.
