ADB vice president, DG arrives in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- Vice President (Operations 1), South Asia Department of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Xiaoyu Zhao, and Director General of ADB's Central and West Asia Department Juan 
Miranda arrived in the capital Dhaka on Sunday on a two-day official visit.
During the visit, Zhao and Miranda will hold discussions with senior government officials, including the finance minister, communications minister, railways minister, and advisers on economic affairs, and Power and Energy, an ADB statement said.
The discussions will focus on ADB operations and thrusts, as well as reform priorities, and implementation issues in key areas, including infrastructure development. 
Manila-based ADB is dedicated to reducing poverty in Asia and the Pacific through inclusive economic growth, environmentally sustainable growth, and regional integration, it added.
