Aftab Bahumukhi Farms signs deal with China company

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Aftab Bahumukhi Farms Limited, a sister organization of Islam Groups, recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Yuan Longping High Tech Agriculture Company of China.

The agreement for technical cooperation on hybrid rice seeds, was signed by Fazle Rahim Khan Shahriar, managing director of Aftab BahurmukhiFarms Ltd and Chen Yiden, general manager of Yuan Longping High Tech.

Under the deal, the two companies will jointly conduct production publicity, display, research, training, seed processing, preservation and use and extension of agro-technology relating to hybrid rice seeds. This three year program begins on May 2011 and concludes May 2014.
