Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Bharti Airtel, a leading global telecommunications company with operations in 19 countries across Asia and Africa, has launched a new value-added service — Talk2Me — for its Bangladeshi customers recently to interact with favourite celebrities.
With the service, Airtel users can now interact with Indian actress Vidya Balan, Bangladeshi cricketers Shakib Al Hasan and Mohammad Ashraful in a session to be held at 9:00pm on March 27, according to reports.
Airtel users can dial 20505 to register for the event for BDT 20+VAT and participate in the session at a browsing charge of BDT 0.29+VAT per minute.
Commenting on this service launch, Chris Tobit, Managing Director and CEO, Airtel Bangladesh Limited reportedly said, “At Airtel, it is our constant endeavour to introduce products and services that are innovative, affordable and relevant for our customers. In continuation with this, we are delighted to announce the launch of Airtel Talk2Me — another industry first from Airtel for our mobile customers in Bangladesh.”
