Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)- De-worming Week begins across the country on Tuesday when the 5-12 age group students of all primary-level educational institutions will be fed de-worming drugs.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare asked all concerned to make sure that all the children take the de-worming drugs.
Schoolboys and girls, particularly those are in rural areas, are very prone to worm infection, health experts said.
They also emphasized making the children aware about health hygiene by using sanitary latrines together with proper hand washing before taking every meal.
