Nelson, New Zealand (BBN)-Bangladeshi opener Anamul Haque sustained injuries during fielding against Scotland in Nelson and was admitted to hospital.

Anamul had hurt his right shoulder while fielding in the 31st over against Scotland in the 27th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup at Saxton Oval in New Zealand.

He was driven to a local hospital straight from the field.

It was speculated that he could not attend the rest of the matches that Tigers were scheduled to play during the World Cup tournament.
