Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – Anwar Ispat, sister concern of Anwar Group of Industries, stepped into the Indian market through sending an export consignment of 60 Grade and 500 W Grade MS rods recently, a company announcement said.
The country’s leading re-rolling mill sent its first consignment in this month with a target to increasing the export volume to 25,000 tones per annum by 2013.
“The company is also ambitious to diversify its export to Myanmar, Middle Eastern and African countries,” it said, adding that Anwar Ispat uses most modern automatic re-rolling mill and quality imported billets which assure that it meets international quality parameters.
It is also specialized only in graded products is also producing billets for 500 W MS Rod.
“Anwar 500 W (TMT) is characterized by high yield strength of 500 W MPA (72500 PSI) minimum,” it noted.
