Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– Bangladesh Bank (BB) has transferred its nine general managers (GMs) to bring dynamism in the central bank’s overall activities, officials said.
Talking to BBN, a BB senior official said: “The GMs have been transferred as part of our routine works.”
Elias Sikder has been transferred to Department of Banking Inspection (DBI)-4 from Special Studies Cell while Mohammad Golam Haider has been posted to Special Studies Cell from DBI-4, according to a notification, issued by the BB on Thursday.
Nasiruzzaman was also transferred to Human Resources Department (HRD)-1 from Department of Currency Management while Sultan Masud Ahmed has been posted to Department of Currency Management from Financial Sector Support and Strategic Planning Department.
Prokash Chandra Bhadra has been transferred to Integrated Supervision Management Department from DBI-1 while Mohammad Ahmed Ali was posted to DBI-1 from Expenditure Management Department-1.
Besides, Swapan Kumar Roy was also transferred to Financial Sector Support and Strategic Planning Department from SME & Special Programmes Department while Ashraful Alam has been posted to SME & Special Programmes Department from Integrated Supervision Management Department.
Shoaib Ali has also been transferred to Expenditure Management Department-1from (HRD)-1, the notification added.
