Bangladesh Bank provides BDT 35.17bn liquidity support to banks

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) – The Bangladesh Bank (BB) provided BDT 35.17 billion liquidity support to the banks on Monday, officials said.

Twenty two primary dealers (PDs) and non-PD banks of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 35.1752 billion were provided as Liquidity Support Facility.

The rate of interest of the Liquidity Support Facility was 7.25 percent, the central bank said.
