Bangladesh Bank provides BDT54.29bn liquidity support to banks

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The Bangladesh Bank provided BDT 54.29 billion through assured liquidity support to the banks on Tuesday, officials said.

Twenty seven primary dealer (PD) and non-PD banks of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 54.2916 billion were provided as Liquidity Support Facility.

The rate of interest of the Liquidity Support Facility was 7.25 percent, the central bank said.
