Bangladesh Bank withdraws BDT102.23bn from market

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-The Bangladesh Bank (BB) withdrew BDT 102.23 billion through reverse REPO auction on Tuesday to keep the country’s money market stable, officials said.
Fifteen bids of two-day tenor amounting total of BDT 102.23 billion were received and all the bids were accepted.
The rate of interest of reverse repo was 5.25 percent.
