Bangladesh Bank withdraws BDT16.97bn Tuesday

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-The Bangladesh Bank withdrew BDT 16.97 billion from the market through reverse REPO auction on Tuesday, officials said.
4 bids of 1-day tenor amounting total of Tk.1697.00 crore were received and all the bids were accepted.
Four bids of one-day tenor amounting total of BDT 16.97 billion were received and all the bids were accepted.
The rate of interest of reverse REPO was 5.25 percent.
