Bangladesh Bank withdraws BDT17.12bn from market Tuesday

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The Bangladesh Bank withdrew BDT 17.12 billion from the market through reverse REPO auction on Tuesday, officials said.
Four bids of 1-day tenor amounting total of BDT 17.12 billion were received and all the bids were accepted. The rate of interest of reverse REPO was 5.25 percent, according to the auction result.
