Bangladesh Bank withdraws BDT49.85bn from market

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-The Bangladesh Bank (BB) withdrew BDT 49.85 billion through reverse REPO auction on Tuesday to keep the country’s money market stable, officials said.

Twelve bids of one-day tenor amounting total of BDT 49.85 billion were received and all the bids were accepted.

The rate of interest of reverse repo was 5.25 percent.
