Bangladesh Bank withdraws BDT7.88bn from market

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)– The Bangladesh Bank (BB) withdrew BDT 7.88 billion from the market through reverse REPO auction on Thursday, officials said.

Three bids of 3-day tenor amounting total of BDT 7.88 billion were received and all the bids were accepted. The rate of interest of reverse REPO was 5.25 percent.
