Bangladesh Bank withdraws BDT83.71bn from market

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-The Bangladesh Bank (BB) withdrew BDT 83.71 billion through reverse REPO auction on Wednesday to keep the country’s money market stable, officials said.
Sixteen bids of one-day tenor amounting total of BDT 83.71 billion were received and all the bids were accepted.
The rate of interest of reverse repo was 5.25 percent.
