Bangladesh cancels FF certificates of 4 bureaucrats

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN)-The Bangladesh government has cancelled the freedom fighters’ certificates of four more secretaries as those were proven false.
The Ministry of Liberation War Affairs issued a gazette notification cancelling the freedom fighers’ certificate of the four Monday afternoon.
Meanwhile, the certification of another bureaucrat was stayed.
Earlier this month, the Anti-Corruption Commission found them guilty of forgery in obtaining the certificates and recommended for revoking those.
The ministry has already cancelled the certificates of 28 others.
The ministry would soon cancel 400 more fake freedom fighters’ certificates, sources added.
