Bangladesh delegation to attend Saudi Crown Prince’s funeral

Dhaka, Bangladesh (BBN) - A high-level Bangladesh delegation, led by Speaker M Abdul Hamid Advocate, left here Monday evening for Saudi Arabia to attend the state funeral of Saudi Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, brother of Saudi King Abdullah.

His Janaza prayers will be held at Imam Turki-bin-Abdullah Mosque in
Riyadh after Asr prayers on Tuesday.

The Crown Prince died in a US hospital on Saturday at the age of 86

Other members of the delegation are Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Engineer Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain and President of Bangladesh-Saudi Parliamentary Friendship Group Bazlul Haque Harun, MP, a press statement said.

The speaker is expected to return home on October 29.
